World Test Championship Final: India To Clash New Zealand

Team India has registered its place in the World Test Championship Finals after defeating England in the fourth and final Test in Ahmedabad by an innings and 25 runs.

The play resumed on day three with an overnight score of 294 runs. Team India was bowled out for 365 runs. Washington Sundar was unbeaten on 96 runs and as he ran out of partners he missed his maiden Test century.

With 160 runs in the lead, team India had an edge. England once again tumbled to India spinners. Axar Patel and Ravi Ashwin claimed five wickets each and rattled through the England’s top, middle and lower order and eventually got bowled out for 135 runs.

India will meet New Zealand in the World Test Championship Finals to be played at Lords stadium in England in July. This is the first championship event in the longer format of the game.
