Indian Premier League 2020 edition took place in the UAE with the Corona pandemic stuck to India. But, the current year’s edition will be hosted in the home country. The IPL governing council has already taken a decision to host the Indian Premier League in India but in limited venues.
It is still undecided on the permission to be given to the crowds but the council is planning to finalize the venues soon. As per the buzz, Mumbai might host the major matches.
The latest news reports confirm that Mumbai is all to set to become one of the venues, as Maharashtra Government assures full support to IPL. The IPL Governing Council will be meeting in the next couple of days to finalize the dates and venues of the matches. The entire schedule is expected to be out this month itself.
There are reports that Hyderabad, Mohali, and Jaipur might be doubtful as venues. However, the government of Telangana has appealed to the BCCI to consider Hyderabad as the venue for IPL. KTR posted a tweet to IPL and BCCI, with regards to the same.
