The 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is just three weeks away. Almost all the teams have commenced the training camps. Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni are undergoing a rigorous training as they ended on the bottom in the last edition.
During a practice match, a youngster has clean bowled Dhoni and the video of this is going viral. Dhoni’s leg stump goes flying and it has shocked even hardcore CSK fans. The bowler is Hari Shankar Reddy and he hails from Andhra. This 22 year old is a pace bowler and has been a regular member of Andhra team since 2018.
In the 2021 IPL auction, CSK bought Hari Shankar Reddy for Rs 20 Lakh. Showing confidence in the practice matches might earn him a berth in the playing Eleven and if Hari Shankar makes the cut, it would be a remarkable feat.
Good luck to Hari Shankar Reddy and hope eventually he gets to wear the blue jersey.
