In the fourth T20I, India defeated England by 8 runs in Ahmedabad. With this win, the series is leveled at 2-2 and the series decider is to take place on Saturday.
In a major highlight, Suryakumar Yadav scored 57 runs off 31 balls and this is his first-ever T20I innings. And also, Rohit Sharma completed his 9000 runs to score in T20 cricket and he became the second Indian batsman after Virat Kohli to achieve the feat.
India won the match, but the umpiring attracted severe criticism all over. Suryakumar’s dismissal by Dawid Malan’s low catch was declared out by the third umpire after he could not see any ‘conclusive evidence’.
Virat Kohli’s reaction upon dismissing Suryakumar turned viral on social media, as the Team India captain was seen pointing his hands towards the umpires in frustration.
