Akshay Kumar Hospitalised After Testing Covid-19 Positive

The list of Bollywood celebrities testing positive of Covid-19 is growing. Freshly Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar has tested positive for the virus and following this, he was hospitalised at a private hospital in Mumbai.

“Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working.” In his statement, Akshay added that he is in the hospital as a precautionary measure and that he is looking forward to be back to home soon: “I am doing fine but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon, take care,” tweeted Akshay with a note.

The 53 year old actor might have contracted the virus while shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Rama Sethu.’ We are getting reports that around 45 junior artists who were part of the shooting have tested positive of the virus but the details are awaited.

Covid-19 second wave has badly hit the country and in the last 24 hours, 1,03,558 new positive cases have been reported and 478 people have died.
