IPL: Virat Kohli Missed A Scary Eye Injury

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Virat is with RCB ever since he joined the tournament. He marked many milestones and is severely trying to drive the team towards lifting the trophy. Unfortunately, the team never won the tournament. This time, the fans are hopeful that their slogan ‘Ee sala Cup Namde’ (The cup is ours this time) will come true. The team’s win against Mumbai Indians is filling the fans with great hopes. However, one incident that took place during the match has shaken Virat Kohli’s fans totally.

During the 19th over in the Mumbai Indians’ innings, Virat Kohli suffered an injury to his right eye. In Kyle Jamieson’s bowling, Krunal Pandya hit the ball towards the boundary but it was in the air for a while. Virat Kohli almost caught it but it slipped fast from his finger and hit him right under his right eye. The blow appeared brutal for all those who witnessed it live on Television. However, Kohli continued playing the match.

Virat wore a smile on his face and did not go off the field. He played with the swollen eye and opened the batting with Washington Sundar, without taking any rest.
