COVID Vaccination: Registrations For 18+ Begins At 4PM Today

The government of India is all set to begin the registrations of the third phase of vaccination today. People who are above 18 years of age can register for the vaccination process from 4 PM today. The registrations can be made on cowin.gov.in, Aarogya Setu app, and Umang app.

“Registration for 18 plus to begin on http://cowin.gov.in, Aarogya Setu App & UMANG App at 4 PM on 28th April. Appointments at State Govt centers & Private centers depending on how many vaccination centers are ready on 1st May for Vaccination of 18 plus. #LargestVaccineDrive,” tweeted Aarogya Setu’s official Twitter handle earlier today.

The center will also continue to vaccinate frontline workers and people aged above 45 years. Serum Institute of India is selling the Covishield vaccine at a price of Rs. 400 per dose to the states and Rs. 600 for private hospitals. Bharat Biotech priced Covaxin at Rs. 600 for states and Rs. 1200 for private hospitals. Additionally, the government will also roll-out Russia’s Sputnik as well in this phase.
