Breaking refrigerator glass has become a norm in this edition of the Indian Premier League. It was started by Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opener Jonny Bairstow earlier in the league phase and was repeated by Chennai Super Kings batsman Ambati Rayudu last night. Interestingly, Mumbai Indians were the opponents in both matches.
While Bairstow smashed the drinks refrigerator in the bowling of Trent Boult, Rayudu did it in the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah. The clip of Rayudu smashing the refrigerator is now going viral all over the internet.
Rayudu played exceptional innings last night. He smashed 72 runs off just 24 balls and helped CSK in scoring a massive total of 218 runs in 20 overs. There were four 4s and seven 6s in his innings. However, the total proved to be less as Mumbai Indians chased it, all thanks to the brilliant knock of Kieron Pollard. His 34-ball-87 helped Mumbai in chasing the target on the last ball of the innings. There were six 4s and eight 6s in his innings.
Both the innings of Pollard and Rayudu were equally brilliant and provided ultimate entertainment for the cricket fans.
