The divorce announcement of Bill and Melinda Gates shocked all. The billionaire philanthropists have been into divorce talks for years and there seems to be a man behind the reason for their split. The man is Jeffrey Epstein. According to the reports, Melinda Gates sought divorce lawyers in 2019.
Jeffrey Epstein was a disgraced financier and convicted sex offender. His relation with Bill Gates reportedly concerned Melinda for the past few years and it reportedly led to the divorce of Bill and Melinda.
Melinda was reportedly uncomfortable with Epstein and Bill Gates’ relationship, despite her concerns Bill reportedly continued his relationship with Epstein. Bill earlier downplayed his relationship with Epstein, saying that he had met Epstein but did not have any business relationship or friendship with him, in 2019.
According to Bill Gates’ spokesperson Bridgitt Arnold, Bill Gates had met Epstein on several occasions to discuss philanthropy. He also said Bill regretted meeting Epstein and calls it was an error of judgment.
Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in a lower Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while he awaited the trial on sex trafficking charges.
