Celebs are doing their bit in these critical times. Actress, filmmaker Renu Desai, who has been flooded with requests online, has been responding to the needy and coming to their rescue. After getting details of the patient, hospital and city, Renu is helping them. She is getting requests on her Instagram from cities like Bengaluru, Chennai besides Hyderabad and towns from Andhra Pradesh.

Renu is shortlisting the details of patients and their needs and based on it she would inform the corresponding NGOs and make sure their need is met. Renu is acting as a bridge between the needy and the NGOs. Renu is actively working with NGOs to ensure that patients are arranged with Oxygen Supply, Beds, food for Covid-19 patients and medicines on time.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi Manchu is offering home-cooked food to police personnel on duty. With the help of her cook, Lakshmi is getting prepared meals for over 50 people daily and sending the food to the police who are discharging their duties in the simmering summer during lockdown hours. Lakshmi is said to be doing this service for the past week.

Dance choreographer ‘Aata’ Sandeep and his wife Jyothiraj have come forward to supply groceries to dancers who make their living through events, shows and movies. Choreographer Sekhar master is said to be supporting Sandeep and his wife in this cause.
