An Indian mother was utterly shocked by her daughter who bought an expensive Gucci belt worth Rs 35,000. This video which is just over one minute was posted by Instagram by the handle Chabi Gupta and it was her mother Anitha Gupta at the other end.
The video has the belt packed in a box. As the mother sees the belt, she asks the price and the daughter replies, it’s Rs 35,000. “What?? This looks like a DPS (Delhi Public School) belt. Is it necessary to buy such expensive belts,” questions the mom.
“I give you one with this belt,” scolds the mother and what’s so special in this, she asks further. “This could have been bought for Rs 150 at most. You’re out of your mind, girl. You just want money in your hand to waste it,” says the mother like a typical middle class woman and goes away.
This video of the mother’s honest reaction is going viral. But seriously the younger generation is so obsessed with the luxury brands and to try them out.
