For the first time since the Corona virus outbreak in the country, the cases reported in a single day has crossed 7000 mark. In the last 24 hours, 7466 cases have been reported while 175 people have died. The total Corona cases in India stand at 1,65,799 while the death count is 4706.
The active cases among the total is 89,987 while 71,106 people have recovered from the virus. The union health ministry in its daily bulletin stated that the recovery rate is 42 percent while death rate is 2.8 percent.
Coming to the Telugu states, Telangana reported the biggest number of positive cases. Yesterday 117 cases were filed but 66 are from the state while the rest are from foreign returnees and deportees. The total cases in Telangana stand at 1908 while the non-Telangana cases are 348.
Andhra Pradesh has 2841 cases as of yesterday. The latest cases will be out in few more hours.
