Friendship Goals: Yuvraj, Tendulkar, Agarkar’s 4 AM Golf

The respect Yuvraj Singh has for Sachin Tendulkar is no big secret. The southpaw has time and again said how much the Master Blaster means to him. In fact, just ahead of the 2011 World Cup, he said he wanted to win it for Sachin. When they ultimately did win, he had an emotional embrace with the icon. And together, they have done wonders for Team India on the cricket field.

Now, former cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajit Agarkar are showing their talents even on the golf course. Yuvraj shared several pictures with Tendulkar and Agarkar on Instagram, where the photos show the trio having a fun time together playing golf. “Last time u woke me up at 4 am was 21 years ago! When it was my first tour to Sharjah. Ajit Agarkar, I’m sure is used to it! Fun times love golf,” Yuvraj captioned the post.

Among the ocean of comments, West Indies batting legend Brian Lara was one of the firsts to comment with “Two single figure handicappers be careful of what they tell you are their handicaps”. Many of us are aware of the fact that Agarkar picked up golf following his retirement from cricket in 2013. He has won a few amateur golf tournaments as well.

Even Yuvraj, who retired from all forms of cricket in 2019, seems to be taking the same hobby as this is not the first time that Yuvraj had posted playing the new sport. Earlier in March, the 39-year-old was seen fine-tuning his golfing skills in Raipur. It is well-known that Yuvraj and Tendulkar are great pals, and the former takes inspiration from the Mumbai maestro. He has admitted that Sachin was the one who kept him motivated throughout his bout with cancer during and after the 2011 World Cup.
