Beating day before yesterday’s record, India has reported 7,964 Corona positive cases in the last 24 hours. With this the total number of cases stand at 1,73,763 while 82,370 have recovered.
Also highest deaths have been reported in the 24 hours too with 265. With this, India’s Corona death toll taken to 4971, announced Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of India. While China’s Corona deaths were claimed to be 4634, India’s Corona deaths have surpassed China’s Covid deaths.
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi and Gujarat are the states have the highest number of cases with 62,228, 20,246, 17,386 and 15,934 respectively.
Also the state of Telangana too posted big number with 168 new cases on Friday. The total cases in Telangana stand at 2008 and in Andhra Pradesh, it is 2874. 71 people have died of Corona in Telangana and in Andhra Pradesh, the death tally is 66.
Worldwide there are 6,033,814 Corona cases while the deaths are 366,890.
