The very interesting and friendly ‘Samosa’ chat between Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi has become the subject of discussion on social media. Ahead of the virtual summit between India & Australia Prime Ministers on 4th June, PM Scott has self-made Samosas & mango chutney on Sunday. Sharing a picture of it, he said that ‘I would have liked to share them with Narendra Modi.
“Sunday ScoMosas with mango chutney, all made from scratch – including the chutney! A pity my meeting with @narendramodi this week is by videolink. They’re vegetarian, I would have liked to share them with him.” – tweeted Scott.
A couple of hours later, Narendra Modi reacted to the post in his style and made an attempt to tell how both the nations are well-connected.
Modi replied with a tweet- “Connected by the Indian Ocean, united by the Indian Samosa! Looks delicious, PM @ScottMorrisonMP! Once we achieve a decisive victory against COVID-19, we will enjoy the Samosas together. Looking forward to our video meet on the 4th.
The two countries are likely to discuss on defence ties, maritime cooperation and strengthening of the WHO (World Health Organization) during this video summit.
