Young hero Varun Dhawan is also joining the bandwagon of actors preferring an OTT release. For this Christmas season, Varun is arriving with ‘Coolie No 1’ and the trailer of it is unveiled.
There is nothing to offer much in the plot as it’s all about a rich businessman who wants her daughter to get married to an even richer young man. Instead a railway coolie comes into the scene and falls in love with the businessman’s daughter played by Sara Ali Khan. Then it’s all twisted visuals loaded with double meaning dialogues.
Hero Varun displays his usual energy and enacts different mannerism. But it’s getting repeated for Varun as he is offering anything new. Sara gets some extended presences in the trailer while Paresh Rawal and Javed Jaffrey are okay. Sara Ali Khan looks stunning in a bikini by the beach, their underwater lip-lock has gone viral.
Yet on the whole the trailer of ‘Coolie No 1’ offers full masala that is needed for the common audiences.
Directed by David Dhawan, the film will be streaming on Amazon Prime from December 25th.
