A 21-year-old Indian student in the US was shot dead by unknown persons in Philadelphia on Monday 29th May.
The youngster has been identified as Jude Chacko from Kerala. Jude has been residing in the US with his parents Roy Chacko and Asja Chacko. The family migrated to the US more than 30 years ago.
Jude was shot dead while he was returning from work..
The increase in shootings in the US is worrying the parents of the students who have been in the US for studies. Earlier, in a Texas mass shooting, Aishwarya Thatikonda lost her life and she was one among the nine killed in the shooting.
On April 21, Veera Saiesh a 21-year-old from Eluru was killed in a suspected robbery case in Columbus Ohio.
