Twitter Malfunction: Musk Says Massive Cyber Attack

X, formerly Twitter, is one of the most widely used social media platforms in the contemporary social media era. It has quickly become a primary source of information and news so there’s a lot depending on the platform day in day out.

Incidentally, the social media giant exhibited signs of malfunctioning as users worldwide were unable to freely access their accounts. While this was suspected to be an individual occurrence, it was later clarified by Elon Musk that it is a coordinated cyber attack.

When asked about the Twitter outage, Musk stated “There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against 𝕏. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing.”

Musk didn’t reveal further details about the nature of the attack. In the meanwhile, the services are being quickly restored as many users are able to access the platform rather easily now.
