United States, president, Donald Trump is one of the most unpredictable and volatile personalities in global politics, and this is again on display as he has changed his words on India now.
Recently, he said India is one of the greatest friends of the United States and he will categorically target India’s opponents when needed.
And now he is back with another rhetoric as he had a pretty contradictory, comment to make.
“For years, India took advantage of the United States. They charged us tremendous tariffs and paid nothing. Now it is the exact reverse and we are making a lot of money with India. But we will get to a deal because I like your Prime Minister a lot; he is a good friend of mine, and we get along well. We have a good relationship.” Trump said.
Trump validated his decision of imposing massive tariffs on India by saying that India had initially looked at the United States. It appears that he has changed his mind again with regard to the taxation policies and international tariffs against India, despite the Supreme Court order against the same in general.
On one hand, the United States president is making life living hell for the Indian community with H1B restrictions and other visa shortcomings. Now he is charging back massive tariffs which are affecting the country while icing it off by saying he likes PM Modi.
