Bigg Boss 4 : Samantha Scored Highest TRP

Compared to the first three seasons of Bigg Boss Telugu, the fourth season of the reality show is drawing lukewarm response. Due to disengaging contestants, lack of enough masala is pushing the fourth season into a tad boring season. While Season 4 is said to be reporting less TRP ratings, the season got a breather from the glamorous addition of Samantha Akkineni.

The episode that was hosted by Samantha and aired on the eve of Dasara is said to have secured the highest TRP in the Season 4. Buzz is that a record 11.4 TVR rating was reported for Bigg Boss 4. Thanks to Samantha’s amazing hosting skills, this is the highest TRP reported for this season. Sam’s interaction with the housemates and especially her comments on them and feedback she had given to the likes of Abhijeet, Lasya were received well. Akhil Akkineni’s entry onto stage and his ‘Joker’ comments on Avinash also stood out. Overall, the Bigg Boss team is said to be happy with Sam’s surprise addition. Besides Samantha’s star attraction, Dasara festival season has helped the show to score big.

It can be noted that Nagarjuna had taken a break from Bigg Boss and participated in the shooting of Wild Dog in Kulu Manali. As he was not available, Samantha has come as a replacement to host the Bigg Boss show. Meanwhile, Nag has returned to the show.
