Drushyam 2 Trailer: Arresting Thriller

Venkatesh and Meena are back with Drushyam 2. Original director Jeethu Joseph has helmed the Telugu remake as well. Let’s check out what Drushyam 2 is about and how the trailer is. 

What is it about?
Cable TV Rambabu (Venkatesh), who misled the murder mystery of Varun Prabhakar involved in his elder daughter six years ago, is back to normal life. So is his family. Since Rambabu is always passionate about movies, he started a theatre and wants to get into film production. However, the police department hasn’t forgotten Varun’s missing/death case that has several unanswered questions. Varun’s parents (Naresh and Nadhiya) are in no mood to give up either. Police department is waiting for the right time to corner Rambabu and his family once again as they are free. Will cops unravel the mystery of Varun’s death and will they nab Rambabu’s family?

Analysis
The trailer sticks true to the film’s story. It perfectly sets up the tone and mood of the film without any deviations. Venkatesh as Rambabu shines in the role and so is Meena. All the cast seems to have delivered their best. Director Jeethu Joseph seems to have succeeded in recreating Drushyam’s magic in the sequel too. The curiosity element is kept intact. The trailer promises to be an intriguing thriller. The film seems to have good technical and production values. Background score is in line with the visuals. The makers are releasing Drushyam 2 on 25th November on Amazon Prime.
