Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are playing Lord Sri Ram and Sita in the upcoming Indian epic titled The Ramayana. The film unit launched the first glimpse this morning. The teaser shows Lord Rama as the savior. The team is promoting the film as our truth, and the visuals are extremely engaging.
Ahead of Hanuman Jayanthi, the makers released a glimpse that showcased the grand scale and top-notch visuals. There are no dialogues in the teaser, but the overall viewing experience is spectacular.
Hans Zimmer’s background score is also extremely engaging while the vocals of ARR added soul to the score. Compared to what we have seen earlier in this theme, the current film has set the bar high.
Some of the visuals look like AI-generated, but the VFX-rich visuals give us a feeling that the team wants to ensure a great experience in theatres. Yash will be seen as Ravana and Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman.
The music is composed by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, with the screenplay penned by Shridhar Raghavan. The film is filmed for IMAX and will have a worldwide release during Diwali 2026.
