The news is official now as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the longest serving prime minister of the country as he stayed in the office for more than 12 years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first individual to hold the office for 4399 days which comes up to more than 12 years. He now holds the record of being the longest serving Prime minister of India in history.
The earlier record was held by Jawaharlal Nehru who held the prime minister’s office for 4398 days and this has been breached by Prime Minister Narendra Modi now.
Modi has gone past three Congress, prime ministers, namely Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh to become the longest serving PM in history.
Modi is being congratulated by some of the biggest global leaders, and also the domestic politicians, including Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan on the occasion.
From starting his career with a very humble background body, he has come long way as he took up multiple roles, including Gujarat chief minister followed by the prime minister of India. He is the most stable prime minister in history and rightly so as well.
