Friday Releases: Hit Films Can Shine Big

With Peddi and Sing Geetham performing decent at the box office, there is also room for new releases during the coming weekend. A bunch of interesting films will test luck at the ticket windows and there is a combination of straight and dubbed releases. We have Ma Inti Bangaram, Deewana, Transfer Trimurthulu and a couple of other dubbing films up for release.

Firstly, all eyes will rest on Samantha since she is coming up with her third outing with director BV Nandini Reddy. Their last film Oh Baby worked very well at the box office. Now, this film is also carrying a positive buzz in the film circles. The trailer is good and there is a decent buzz surrounding the film, with some reasonable advance bookings in the pipeline. If the film clicks, it will elevate Samantha’s career furthermore.

There is Vadde Naveen’s Transfer Trimurthulu. The actor makes his comeback after a very long time. He is single handedly promoting the film and so far, the film is carrying on a slightly average buzz but the word of mouth will become extremely crucial for this film.

And then, we have Deewana, backed by Geetha Arts. The film is already having paid premieres and the buzz will be out by today based on which the film’s performance will depend.

Vijay Anthony is arriving with Vanda Devullu and then there is another Malayalam dubbed film Balan. Both the trailers have impressed so far and if they gain positive talk from the audiences, that will be a big boost.

In all possible scenarios, the film that works well at the box office will have an open window for 10 days.
