Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan’s Krack, which is supposed to release in cinemas today, ran into trouble and this in turn affected the film’s release today. The US Premieres, which were scheduled for yesterday, have been cancelled. According to reports, producers of Krack owe debts to some financiers which were acting as a major hurdle. Some financiers have approached the court and got a stay order against the film’s release. With this, producers of Krack are facing a severe challenge to clear the last-minute payments and release the film on time.
Buzz is that producers owe about Rs 10 Crore to a financier and he wants it to be settled before the film’s release. With this, distributors are also holding their money ahead of the film’s release which in turn halted the film’s release. Some industry bigwigs have been involved and holding talks between both the parties to resolve the issue amicably. However, the financiers are keen on their old dues to be settled.
With this, Krack’s morning show may miss India. It is buzzed that producers of Krack need to approach court if they fail to settle the dues with the financiers. As of now, the confusion surrounding the Krack release is going on. Even the show for media persons has been cancelled by the producers in the wake of these issues.
