Director Gautam Menon’s films get delayed for a long time quite often. We have seen this trend for the films like Acham Enbathu Madamaiyada and Enai Noki Paayum Thota. His film with Chiyaan Vikram, titled Dhruva Natchathiram also falls in this category.
Dhruva Natchathiram was announced more than five years back and is lying under the cans for about three years. Until now, we have seen a couple of teasers and songs from this film but nothing else.
Neither Vikram nor Gautam Menon spoke about the delay in any of their interviews. In the meantime, they came up with other projects.
As per the latest buzz in Kollywood, Vels Films International has taken over the project. Apparently, they are planning to release it in two parts.
It seems that director Gautam Menon has four-hour footage of the film and as most of the parts cannot be edited because they may disturb the film’s flow, the makers have decided to release it in two parts, say the sources.
The release details will be announced soon. Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh played the female leads in Dhruva Natchathiram. Harris Jayaraj composed the music.
