Kaun Banega Crorepati is an exciting game show where the contestants will be answered a series of questions based on general knowledge and current affairs. Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the show successfully for many years. A few years ago, the show debuted on Telugu television.
Endemolshine India in association with Star MAA produced Kaun Banega Crorepati in Telugu as Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. Even before that, Sun Network bagged the rights of the show and planned to do it in Telugu. It happened almost 8 years ago.
The officials at Sun Network approached Manchu Mohan Babu and offered him the role of host. However, Mohan Babu expressed no interest and declined their offer. Mohan Babu’s son Vishnu revealed the same in a recent interview.
However, Sun Network holds the rights to the game show currently. Young Tiger Jr NTR is hosting the show and the show is titled Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu. Earlier, Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi hosted the show for Star MAA.
Vishnu, on the other hand, revealed that a popular streaming service is in talks with Mohan Babu for his debut on OTT.
