Anchor Varshini Turns Busy With Shaakuntalam!

Director Gunasekhar has been adding interesting actors to the cast list of his ambitious project Shaakuntalam. It is known that Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha joined the sets recently. Now, young actress Varshini Sounderajan joined the team.

Varshini signed the project recently and started shooting as well. The actress is well-known for her television appearances. It is learnt that she is playing an important role in Shaakuntalam.

Gunasekhar first did a look test for Varshini and after that, he immediately signed her for the role. The Chandamama Kathalu actress is highly excited about this project.

Speaking about her role in an interview with a leading daily, Varshini said that her role is layered and has multiple looks. She added that working under Gunasekhar is also a fantastic experience.

Varshini also went all praises for the film’s lead actress Samantha Akkineni. She said that the star heroine is very down to earth.

Apart from Shaakuntalam, Varshini is also acting in another film titled Malli Modalaindi. Directed by Keerthi, this movie features Sumanth as the lead hero.
