A week ago, we informed readers that Naga Chaitanya would feature in an OTT project, bankrolled by Sharrath Marar of North Star Entertainments. The latest news is, Chay will be seen in a horror series.
The project is said to be an eight-episode horror series. Long back in August, on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday, Chay announced his film with Vikram Kumar titled Thank You. After Manam and the upcoming Thank You, Vikram Kumar and Chay are collaborating for a hattrick with this horror series.
Naga Chaitanya said that the reason he chose Vikram Kumar was because of his compatibility with him. Chay and Vikram will team up for Amazon Prime Video’s untitled horror web series and the shooting may commence as soon as he wraps up with Thank You.
Ironically, long back in a popular chat show called Koncham Touch lo Unte Cheptha, Naga Chaitanya once told anchor Pradeep that he is scared of horror films and avoids watching them. Now, this horror series is something new and challenging to him.
Currently, the actor is busy with Thank you along with Avika Gor and Malavika Nair in the lead roles. The film is expected to release by the end of 2021. Naga Chaitanya is also waiting for the release of Love Story, by Sekhar Kammula. He will be seen in Lal Singh Chadha as well, co-starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
