Mega power star, Ram Charan, who has been preoccupied with Acharya and Magnum opus RRR, is prepping up for RC15. While cinephiles are waiting for the film to go on floors, the makers revealed that RC15 will start its shoot from the second week of September. Earlier, they planned to launch the film in August.
Charan and Dil Raju met Shankar in Chennai early this month and the meeting happened after the Madras High Court on July 2 rejected a plea by Lyca Productions to restrain S Shankar from taking up any other movies before completing Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2.
Not so long ago, Thaman joined the RC15 team, who started his film career with Shankar’s film, Boys. He also began working on Ram Charan’s introduction song on July 14 and 15 in Hyderabad. Around 135 various instrument players from different places have been roped in for this song.
RC15 is being bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. This film will be Dil Raju’s 50th venture. . After RC15, Shankar will helm the Hindi remake of Anniyan, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
