“It Is Not Porn, It Is Soft Porn” Director On Kundra’s Films

With each passing day, the inside deets of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra’s pornography case is getting lucid. Among many people, even director Tanveer Hashmi was quizzed recently for over three hours by the Crime Branch.

Currently, one of the accused Tanveer is out on bail and he said that he never came face to face with Raj Kundra. He said that the CBI asked him if he ever met Kundra. ‘I told them I have never met Raj Kundra in my life.’

Tanveer said that he never worked directly for Raj Kundra’s company but made content for the platform.“We used to make short films of 20-25 minutes, which had nudity, but if you look at it logically they cannot be called porn but we can say it was soft porn.”

He further added that he cannot comment on Raj Kundra and only the law will decide. “Even other platforms are making bold films, no one questioned them?” he asked. Four employees of Kundra’s company have turned witnesses in the case. When asked if Tanveer too was going to turn witness, he said that he never committed any crime and the question of witness does not arise.

Currently, Mumbai Crime Branch has seized 18 bank accounts of 11 associates of Raj Kundra. According to crime branch sources, about Rs 2 crore 38 lakh is deposited in two bank accounts.
