The box office is set to welcome audiences from tomorrow in Telangana and the state government has allowed the theatres to run with full capacity and also granted single screen theatres to charge the parking fee. But what about the status of AP?
The theatres in AP are set to reopen from July 31st. However the AP government has allowed theatres to operate from July 8th but due to the pending issues between Exhibitors and producers, the theatres remained shut.
This afternoon the AP government yet again issued fresh orders to reopen theatres but the government did not sanction a hundred percent seating capacity. The AP government allowed only fifty percent seating capacity and all the theatres should mandatorily place sanitisers and check the temperature of people who are coming to watch a film.
Despite the AP government directives, the theatres owners and management are uncertain with fifty percent seating capacity. They claim that they would incur more losses by screening films with just half capacity and they urged the state government to come up with an alternative solution for it.
Coming to the releases, Satya Dev’s ‘Thimmarusu’ and young hero Teja Sajja’s ‘Ishq’ are hitting the box office tomorrow.
