Suriya’s Jai Bhim: Based On 1993 Real Incident

Actor Suriya is currently busy with three projects and one of them is Jai Bhim, which is being directed by Tha. Se. Gnanvel. The first look poster of this film was unveiled a few days back on the occasion of Suriya’s birthday.

The poster featured Suriya as a lawyer who is arguing the case of tribal people. The latest sources from Kollywood confirm that the film is based on the story of senior advocate Chandru and the way he brought justice to the Irular tribe woman in 1993 legal battle.

Suriya’s earlier film Soorarai Pottru was also based on real events and persons. Now, he opted for the same route for Jai Bhim as well. The film features Prakash Raaj in the other prominent role. Suriya himself is bankrolling the project and Sean Ronald is composing the music.

More details about Jai Bhim will be announced soon.

Apart from this film, Suriya is also acting in Etharkkum Thunindhavan, under the direction of Pandiraj and Vaadi Vaasal in the direction of Vetri Maaran.
