MLC For Kaushik Reddy

Defiant ‘Congress’ leader and former Huzurabad Assembly constituency incharge for the Congress party Padi Kaushik Reddy, who recently jumped into the ruling TRS party after his audio call got leaked, has been rewarded. Kaushik Reddy has been nominated for the MLC post under Governor’s quota.

The Telangana state cabinet is said to have recommended Kaushik Reddy’s name and sent the same to the Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. With this, it will be just a formality that the Governor would nominate Kaushik Reddy as the MLC.

Kaushik is said to have the blessings of Minister KT Ramarao and CM KCR. Kaushik has good rapport with KTR and he had used the latter’s name in the leaked audio calls. He formally joined the Pink party only a few days ago (July 21, 2021). He has been rewarded by nominating for the MLC.

It can be noted that Kaushik Reddy had leveled serious allegations against newly-appointed TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. He had went onto allege that Revanth had “bought” the TPCC president post from the Congress party’s top brass by ‘bribing’ them. Kaushik was in a soup over the audio clips where he was talking to BJP’s party workers seeking their support for TRS in Huzurabad by-election.
