Tamil hero Arya who recently garnered full appreciation for playing Kabilan Munirathnam in the film ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ was questioned by police in a cheating case. Going into details a Sri Lankan woman by name Vidja who resides in Germany claimed that hero Arya had cheated her.
The woman alleged that Arya promised to marry her and she even transferred a sum of Rs 70 Lakh to him. Unable to make her personal presence, Vidja lodged her complaint online and even provided their chat as evidence. Upon receiving the complaint, the police contacted hero Arya and asked him to appear for questioning.
Arya appeared before Chennai Commissioner and was reportedly probed for three hours. The case also reached court and the next hearing of it is scheduled on August 17th.
However, the ‘Varudu’ villain is not reachable to the media for a comment on this case.
Arya married actress Sayyeshaa Saigal in 2019 and last month they welcomed their first child.
