Can Anushka Repeat Nayanathara’s Act?

Lady Superstar Nayanthara recently played a visually impaired woman in the recent crime thriller ‘Netrikann’. Directed by Milind Rau of ‘Gruham’ fame, the film recently got a direct digital release.

Featuring Ajmal Ameer and Sharan Shakthi in crucial roles, the film is all about how a blind woman becomes a witness in a murder case and also decides to take on the task of finding the killer herself.

Now, according to the latest buzz, the Telugu remake of the film is on the cards. Buzz is that none other than Tollywood Lady Superstar Anushka Shetty is onboard to play the lead role in the film.

Anushka who never fails to come up with female-centric films recently delivered a disaster with ‘Nishabdam’ and the fans are now excited to see her in this remake film.

Rowdy Pictures and Kross Pictures bankrolled the original version which is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and has been receiving a decent response from the audience.
