Industry Talk: Chiranjeevi’s Warning To ‘Aa Naluguru’?

Published by

We already know that Megastar Chiranjeevi has organized a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy to discuss the issues the industry has been facing for the past few months. During the meeting, multiple key points came to the discussion table.

As per a report published on leading news daily, Chiranjeevi reportedly issued a friendly warning to producers Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, and Sunil Narang.

The meeting was also attended by multiple producers and distributors to discuss some essential aspects pertaining to the new movie releases.

As per the reports, Chiranjeevi has warned the four leading producers against charging Virtual Print Fee (VPF) from distributors. In fact, VPF has been one of the major issues as the digital service providers are charging nearly 25000 to 35000 rent from distributors.

Chiranjeevi has now reportedly told the top four producers to stop taking rent from distributors and instead collect them from theatre owners.

Allu Arvind and Dil Raju immediately accepted Chiranjeevi’s proposal but we hear that Sunil Narang and Suresh Babu asked for a week’s time to take the final call on the same.

For any new film release, it is very important to bring producers, distributors, and exhibitors on the same page.

Before meeting the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chiranjeevi wants to clear the issues among themselves and then approach the government with bigger issues.

We have to see what key changes will the meeting with the government bring to the film industry!
