Bollywood industry is mostly relying on OTT release with theatres in the north states yet to reopen fully. During the Independence Day weekend, we have seen a couple of releases on various OTT platforms and a few more will follow later this month and next. ‘Bhoot Police’ amongst the releases scheduled in September.
The trailer of ‘Bhoot Police’ is out and it’s both entertaining and scary. This is a horror comedy and we see Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor in tantric roles. Saif is the finnier guy while Arjun is subject oriented. They do go to many places and get rid of the evil but the biggest challenge arrives in the form of Yami Gautam who reveals about a fiery ghost in her home town.
Saif and Arjun set out and the real deal begins here. While Arjun tries to solve this ghost haunting mystery, Saif plays it cool to tickle the audiences. Jacqueline Fernandez provides ample glamour in this horror genre and it is becoming monotonous.
Overall the trailer of ‘Bhoot Police’ looks good but this genre has seen too many films and we have to see how it manages. The film is directed by Pavan Kirpalani, and will be streaming on Disney+HotStar from September 17th.
