Roja’s Husband Fires On Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde is one of the highest paid actresses in South Indian cinema. She is said to have charged around Rs 3 crores for Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 which was announced very recently. Now, Pooja is facing a serious allegation from RK Selvamani, the husband of actor-turned-politician, Roja.

Selvamani claimed that Pooja Hegde is adding unnecessary financial burden on the producers with her starry tantrums.

“In the early stages of Pooja’s career, she had one assistant. He used to take care of her make-up, dressing, styling etc. But after attaining stardom Pooja has changed completely. She has as many as 12 assistants now. What is the need to have 12 assistants?,” Selvamani questioned.

Selvamani, who is also a filmmaker, added that Pooja is intentionally troubling her producers by bringing along a big support staff. “The producers have to pay for all her assistants, provide them with all amenities and all these costs ultimately add up to the production costs. This is unnecessary financial burden on producers,” he said.

Pooja Hegde or any of her representatives are yet to react to these hard-hitting comments.

On the work front, Pooja is currently shooting for Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast. She has Most Eligible Bachelor and Radhe Shyam lined up for release.
