Actress Feels Naked Without A Mask

COVID-19 pandemic brought a drastic change in the world. Everyone’s life and lifestyle turned upside down after the outbreak of coronavirus. People are not going out without wearing a mask for the last one and a half years. Popular actress Malavika Mohanan said that she feels naked without a mask.

In a recent interview with the Hyderabad Times, Malavika said, “While we’re shooting, there are strict safety protocols in place on the sets, but as actors, we need to remove our masks. I’ve gotten so used to wearing a mask that I suddenly feel naked without one. It’s become such an important part of your attire so when you remove it, it feels odd.”

Malavika is currently in Hyderabad to shoot her upcoming film Maaran, which stars Dhanush as the lead hero. Karthik Naren is directing the film. The Master actress is hoping to make her Telugu debut soon. She was supposed to make her Tollywood entry with Vijay Deverakonda’s Hero but the movie was shelved midway.

“Hero was supposed to be my Tollywood debut but that project didn’t pan out due to internal issues. I’ve been waiting to make my debut in Telugu cinema for quite some time now. Of course, I’ve been getting a lot of offers but things have been stuck due to the pandemic and now there’s a backlog of one-and-a-half years. Now that things have started rolling again, hopefully, you’ll see me in Telugu cinema very soon,” said Malavika.
