Shruti Haasan doing a web series for Amazon Prime!

Given the expanded user base of the OTT arena in India, many Bollywood and South Indian actors are venturing into the digital space. Shruti Haasan, who keeps herself updated in every aspect, is one of the first actors to enter the streaming arena.

Shruti was seen in the Netflix original anthology Pitta Kathalu which had been released earlier this year. She acted in a segment directed by Nag Ashwin. Now, she signed yet another OTT project, and this time, it is for Amazon Prime Video.

In a recent interview, Shruti revealed that she is currently acting in a Hindi web series backed by Prime Video. More details of this project are yet to be announced.

On the film front, Shruti is acting as the female lead in Prabhas’ upcoming action-drama Salaar. Just like all other heroines, Shruti also lauded the hospitality of Prabhas. “I have heard about Prabhas’ hospitality before. I witnessed it recently when I started working with him. I cannot control myself by seeing the variety of recipes he sends us daily. That is indeed a sweet and lovely gesture,” said Shruti.
