Gopichand and Sampath Nandi’s commercial potboiler which opened to great start at the Box Office on the festival day isn’t continuing the momentum at the ticket windows.
The film that is claimed to have collected Rs 3 Crore share on the opening day has got decent revenues in the first weekend i.e Saturday and Sunday.
However, the film is said to have tumbled in the Monday test. Trade analysts say that the film couldn’t pass the acid test as the footfalls have dropped drastically. The mass masala which bagged mixed reviews is finding it difficult to pull crowds from Monday.
As the theatrical value is estimated at around Rs 13 Crore, it is still a long way ahead to reach the breakeven mark. However, the blessing in disguise is that Seetimaarr didn’t have major competition this week as well.
Other than Sundeep Kishan’s Gully Rowdy (17 Sep), there is no other release at the BO. Nithiin’s Maestro is having an OTT release. It needs to be seen what is in store for Seetimaarr.
