Naga Chaitanya In A Negative Role!

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has changed his game after the success of Majili. Post the success of the film, the actor is signing films that offer him a scope to perform. The actor has completely decided to avoid routine films that add no value to his career. In this process, he signed a negative role for one of his upcoming projects.

Elaborating more on the same in his recent interview with Film Companion, the Love Story actor said that he will play a negative role for a horror web series greenlit by the Amazon Prime Video platform. Vikram K Kumar who worked with Chay for Manam and Thank You will direct the project.

“This is the first time I am playing a negative role. The story is very interesting. I am doing it for OTT because it fits there. I can’t take the story to any producer and ask him to produce it. Even I won’t show interest to produce it,” said Naga Chaitanya.

The actor also added that there is a vacuum that every actor is feeling while experimenting with roles. “OTT fills that vacuum and gives a chance to the actors in performing something that they may not attempt regularly,” revealed Naga Chaitanya.

Naga Chaitanya’s next release is Love Story. The film is hitting the screens on 24th September. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film also features Sai Pallavi.
