Rashmi Rocket Trailer: A Champion Runs For Justice

Actress Taapsee Pannu is always a game for scripts that are needed to be told to the society and her next falls in the same space. ‘Rashmi Rocket’ is Taapsee’s next and the trailer is unveiled.

Taapsee plays an athlete from a small village. Yet her determination is to become a successful athlete and she becomes a champion. But questions arise when Taapsee’s gender is being tested and subsequently she gets banned from running.

However, Taapsee is not let down and fights to prove that she is a WOMAN. The trailer is engaging and talks about the hurdles being faced by the female athletes at sports authorities and in society. Most importantly the film touches upon the age-old practice of gender testing.

‘Rashmi Rocket’ is directed by Akarsh Khurana while it is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha, and Kanika Dhillon.

The film is getting an OTT release and will be streaming from October 15^th on Zee5.
