Prabhas’ stardom has crossed all the leaps and boundaries after Baahubali. He is now a pan-India star who enjoys a massive fan base across the country. Thus, every film of him needs to be made on a grand scale to satisfy his fans.
It looks like all the filmmakers who are working with Prabhas are keeping this fact in mind and are experimenting with new technologies that are never used in Indian cinema before.
Just about a day ago, it was reported that Prabhas’ action-thriller Salaar is being made using ‘Dark Centric Theme’ technology. This means that movie will have dark-shaded visuals in most of the scenes. This technology was earlier used in Hollywood movies like The Matrix, The Batman Trilogy, and Tenet. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.
Already, it is known that Prabhas’ other film Radhe Shyam is the first Indian film to use Virtual Production technology in Indian cinema. This Radha Krishna Kumar directorial film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It will hit the screens on January 14, 2022.
Prabhas is also acting in another film titled Adipurush. This Om Raut directorial project is the first Indian film to use Motion Capture technology. This mythological epic features Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the other lead roles. It will release in 3D as well. Adipurush is slated for release during the second half of 2022.
In this way, Prabhas is introducing a new technology in Indian cinema with his every film.
