Businessman Producer RR Venkat Passes Away

Noted film producer RR Venkat is no more. Venkat, who had been suffering from a renal infection, was being treated at AIG hospital in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli. Despite efforts from doctors, Venkat couldn’t beat the kidney ailment. Due to kidney failure, Venkat breathed his last today morning. He was 54-year-old.

RR Movie Makers had created a sensation for bankrolling big-budget films with star heroes. He produced Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh’s Businessman, Nagarjuna’s Damarukam, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s Autonagar Surya, Ravi Teja’s Kick.

However, the man behind these big-budget films, RR Venkat, has always avoided media glare and limelight. Venkat was even hesitant to get clicked and always informed the shutterbugs to avoid clicking his photograph. Everyone in the Tollywood heard RR Venkat’s name but only a very very few in the industry know RR Venkat’s face.
