Bhola Shankar: Meher Ramesh To Use The Gap

Director Meher Ramesh who has made flopbusters like Sakthi and Shadow has finally got a chance to direct again almost eight years later. Megastar Chiranjeevi entrusted him with the job of directing Vedhalam remake, which is titled Bhola Shankar and features Keerthi Suresh’s as the matinee idol’s sister.

Actually, the filming of this project should happen after Megastasr wraps up Lucifer remake Godfather first and then Bobby’s movie which is tentatively titled Waltair Vasu. Even Chiranjeevi is very keen to go ahead with Bobby’s movie only after he wraps Godfather. Now that Godfather team is trying to get other best locations for the film, there is huge schedule gap coming after packing up the Ooty shoot. And here comes the twist.

Meher Ramesh is said to have now convinced Chiranjeevi to do Vedhalam remake Bola Shankar first. They say that Meher recceed for all the locations well in advance, and with Godfather team also struggling to get some locations, the shoot of Bhola Shankar will start in this gap. Both Godfather director Jayam Ravi, and Bobby are said to have got surprised by this move.

Some say that Meher is waiting for the right opportunity to kick start his film first, and as he is quite prepared, even Chiru gave the green signal.
