With Daniel Craig playing the role of James Bond for the fifth and final time, all the buzz around “No Time To Die” reached its peak now. While the film also amassed some positive reviews, regular James Bond movie lovers are enjoying the action sequences and twists. But it is the climax of the movie that has shattered them big time. ((Spoiler Alert))
In the history of 59 years of James Bond cinema universe, never we saw a Bond dying in the film even if some actor is playing the role for the last time. But in No Time To Die, where Daniel Craig is appearing as Bond for one last time, the story was given a terrific twist. As Bond decides to quit spy-work and leads a simple life, he gets killed by his enemies. That’s something very hard to digest as never the makers of James Bond movies have killed a Bond character that way.
The only solace that comes after this heartbreak is that, post the end credits, the usual lettering, “James Bond Will Return”. Upon looking at this, fans will surely look forward to someone new playing the role, but the iconic character will be kept alive as always. Craig started playing Bond in 2006 film Casino Royale and appeared in Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die. Producer Barbara Broccoli revealed that the search for a new Bond actor will begin in 2022 but not anytime sooner.
No Time To Die has been released in India as well in four languages including English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
