Pushpa Item Song: Temper Girl Gave Costly Shock?

With director Sukumar being the admirer of rusty item songs set in a village backdrop, and Allu Arjun is a terrific dancer and with the film having a massy forest backdrop, surely a spicy hottie who could dance quite well is needed for the hyped ‘item number’ in Pushpa Part 01 that is going to hit cinemas on December 17th 2021.

From Disha Patani to Sunny Leone, Jacqueline Fernandez to Pooja Hegde, many popular starlets were approached by Team Pushpa, in order to sizzle in a dance number opposite Allu Arjun. However, all of them rejected the offer for various reasons while one has a remuneration issue and the other has an image thing in mind. And now, we hear that Sukumar and co have approached the popular item lady Nora Fatehi for the song, but then she is said to have shocked them with her remuneration demand.

Back then, when Nora did her first item number down south in Jr NTR and Puri Jagan’s Temper, she charged a mere 4 lakhs for the 4 days shoot. And later on, she did a number of item songs in Telugu in films like Baahubali and Kick 2, but then shot to fame with her special numbers in Bollywood that recorded millions of views for her dance. Then she got raised to the position of a second lead as well in many Bollywood movies now. She is said to have quoted nearly 2 crores with all other additional expenditure included for the song, as per the reports coming from Sukumar’s camp.

Though Pushpa makers are keen on roping in Nora Fatehi as her presence will help in the Hindi market as well, they are wondering if the ₹ 2 crores quote is a bit high. Consultations are said to be going on and they might take a final call on Nora very soon.
