Balayya Dubbing For Mike Tyson? Here’s The Truth

The makers of Liger, a heavy action thriller starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role recently announced that international boxing legend Mike Tyson will be playing a pivotal role in the film. This is the first time Mike Tyson is featuring in an Indian film.

In the last couple of days, rumors are rife that none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna will be dubbing for Mike Tyson in Liger. However, when we dug deep and caught up with our sources close to Liger unit, we got to know that there is no truth in these speculations.

The sources confirm that Balayya is not dubbing for Mike Tyson in the film and any report claiming otherwise is completely baseless.

Balayya’s vocal renditions most certainly won’t sync with Mike Tyson’s demeanour. It would have been a complete mismatch. The makers of Liger are well aware of the same and they wouldn’t experiment around with something like this.

On a related note, it is heard that the makers of Liger have paid Tyson a whopping remuneration for coming on board for the film. The idea is to attain a wider appeal for the boxing-oriented sports drama by bringing in a global boxing icon.
